How Rainbow Wedding Chapel collects, uses, and protects your information on jacksonvilleweddingchapel.com, including cookies, analytics, live chat, and your choices.

Rainbow Wedding Chapel, operated by Rainbow Notary and Nuptials Network Inc. (“Rainbow Wedding Chapel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), runs the website at jacksonvilleweddingchapel.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

Information You Give Us

  • Contact form. When you use the “Send us a message” form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. The form delivers this information to our business email inbox. The Site does not store contact form submissions in a database.
  • Live chat. The Site includes a live chat widget provided by Zoho SalesIQ. If you start a chat, we receive what you type, any name or email address you provide, and basic details about your visit such as the pages you viewed, your browser, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Phone, text, email, and WhatsApp. If you call, text, email, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and the content of your message.
  • Bookings and ceremonies. Reservations are made through our booking site at rainbownotaryandnuptials.com, which has its own privacy policy. Information you provide when booking or on the day of your ceremony, such as names, contact details, marriage license details, and payment information, is collected there or in person, not through this Site. This Site does not process payments.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site, including pages visited, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us. Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize repeat visits. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
  • Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors who arrive from our ads take an action on the Site, such as calling us, messaging us on WhatsApp, sending the contact form, or clicking through to book. Google uses cookies to connect those actions to an ad click. Where remarketing is enabled in our Google Ads account, Google may also use this data to show you our ads on other websites.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard log data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and date and time. We use these logs for security and to keep the Site running.
  • Language preference. If you switch the Site to Spanish or French, we save your choice in your browser’s local storage, and the Google Translate service sets a cookie so the selection carries across pages.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your messages, questions, and booking inquiries.
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • To understand which pages and advertisements bring couples to us, and to measure our advertising.
  • To remember your language preference.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our policies, including our Booking & Refund Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The Site and the third-party services it uses set the following:

  • Google Analytics (cookie names beginning with “_ga”): distinguishes visitors and sessions for analytics. Stored for up to 2 years.
  • Google Ads (cookie names beginning with “_gcl”): links an ad click to actions you take on the Site. Stored for up to 90 days.
  • Zoho SalesIQ: keeps your chat session open and remembers whether you have chatted with us before.
  • Google Translate (“googtrans”) and a local storage entry named “rwc-language”: remember your language selection.
  • Embedded content: pages that include a Vimeo video or a Google Maps map may set cookies from those providers once the content loads or plays.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the language selector and live chat. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and manage personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond, the Site does not currently respond to these signals.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers to run the Site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

The Site also links to Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Google reviews, YouTube, and our booking site. Those sites are not covered by this policy.

How We Share Information

We share personal information only:

  • With the service providers listed above, as needed to operate the Site and provide our services.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rainbow Wedding Chapel, our customers, or others.
  • As part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case the new owner will be bound by this policy.

Photographs and Reviews

Digital photos are included with our ceremonies. We may display ceremony photos and customer reviews on the Site and on our social media accounts. If you would prefer that a photo of you not appear, or you would like one removed, contact us and we will take it down.

Data Retention

Contact form emails and chat transcripts are kept in our business email and chat accounts for as long as we need them to respond to you and maintain records of our services. Google Analytics retains visitor-level data for no more than 14 months. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Analytics and advertising. Use the opt-out links in the cookies section above.
  • Live chat. You can contact us by phone or email instead of using the chat widget.
  • Marketing messages. If you receive a marketing email or text from us, you can opt out by replying or contacting us, and we will stop.

California residents. California law allows residents to ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and contact form submissions travel to our email provider over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
